These portraits were the work of such photographers as George Hurrell, Robert Coburn, Ted Allan, Eugene Robert Richee, Ernest Bachrach, Laszlo Willinger and Ruth Harriet Louise. One hundred and fifty of these portraits are published in this book, seen in their original magnificence, having been reproduced from the photographers' original print or negative. Among those photographed are: Marlene Dietrich, Joan Crawford, Katharine Hepburn and Rita Hayworth. All are enhanced by Kobal's fascinating text.
